Minor issue / question: For the thigh bones, because of the copy transforms constraint on MCH_thigh_F_b.L, and the difference in roll between the two secondary control bones it is copying the transforms of, the bone rolls slightly when entering pose mode (the roll is the difference between roll of CTR_stretch_thigh_F_a.L and CTR_stretch_shin_F_a.L). This happens also on the final downloadable rig, but the effect is very slight. On mine, it is more pronounced, because of the x-axis adjustments I made for the deform bones on the front leg when skinning, the bones are slightly more angled and the difference in roll between the two secondary control bones used in the copy transform constraint is higher. Is this a problem?

First and foremost, when switching modes, the smaller the discrepancy, the better. This issue usually occurs because there is a significant gap between the target bone of the Copy Transform constraint and the constrained bone. Based on your description, I believe the large deviation is caused by a significant difference in the Roll values. This is likely the reason for the problem. You can try adjusting the Roll values first to make them as close as possible.
